1. Provide input all technical aspects of product design including profit testing and financial analysis, the analysis of competitor’s products, and the preparation of Product Approval documents for the regional office.
2. Perform modeling in excel and Prophet, profit testing and related technical aspects of product pricing for specified products. The process will include ensuring the integrity of pricing model.
3. Prepare product specifications, policy wordings, regulatory filings and all other material relating to new products.
4. Provide the actuarial input on the changes required on the policy administration system & PruQuote, ensuring changes are carried out accurately and properly documented.
5. Carry out a wide variety of ad-hoc actuarial investigations, as required from time-to-time, ensuring all results are thoroughly checked for accuracy and consistency.
6. Provide support to more junior staff on actuarial concept & techniques so that knowledge of actuarial practice is acquired quickly and effectively
7. Actively study towards actuarial qualification
8. Others: to be assigned by the Line manager or Company’s management (if any).
Mandatory: A good university degree in a subject with significant exposure to actuarial, finance, mathematics and/or statistics
Advantage: Passed some actuarial exams.
Advantage: 1-3 years of relevant actuarial experience.
Knowledge and skill set:
1. Good command of written and spoken English
2. Good analytical skill
3. Knowledge of Excel, MS Word, Access and database packages
1. Knowledge of basic actuarial techniques and terminology
2. Experience in Actuarial CF model (Prophet is preferable)
