Key Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Country Marketing Manager- ASEAN, the position holder’s main responsibilities are:
Develop and deploy channel and trade marketing activations within assigned geographical area(s):
• Work closely with local sales and marketing teams to develop and implement local site marketing to support distributors and key local initiatives (e.g. new product launches, promotions, events and marketing campaigns);
• Align trade activities plans with and support roll-out of regional and national marketing and promotional activities at assigned areas;
• Support local sales and distributor programs in outlet acquisition and loyalty programs;
• Plan and execute on-boarding of new distributors and commercial customers;
• Deploy and track store signage and in-store display; including co-ordination with distributors, vendors and in-house stakeholders;
• Measure effectiveness and track progress of channel marketing programs using market research and available market data;
• Work with sales, distributors and customers to better understand needs of and develop insights and ideas for trade channels as well as provide regular progress reports;
• Monitor and report competitors’ activities;
• Manage and update assigned marketing budget, procurement and purchases and inventory of marketing materials;
• Steward brand and advertising compliance and ensure that all marketing communications are accurate and legally compliant.
Requirements:
• Vietnamese national with University degree (preferably in Marketing or Business).
• At least 5 years’ relevant trade/ channel/ product marketing management experience, preferably from consumer goods, automotive, lubricants, or electronics multinational companies
• Proven track record of initiatives and achievements for trade channel activities
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese, with strong business presentation, verbal and written communication skills
• Strategic thinking, planning, problem solving, project management and stakeholder management are skills essential to the job
• Highly skilled in influencing, collaboration and negotiation
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Able to demonstrate competent project management, creativity and planning skills
• Able to travel within Vietnam
