We are now embarking on a search for a seasoned Head of Sales & Marketing to lead and grow our business within the highly competitive food and beverage packaging market in Vietnam. This position will consist of developing and executing a long term Sales & Marketing Plan that supports and aligns with the broader business strategy. The focus of the role is on developing & executing Key Account Management, Product portfolio management, value pricing, service development, new product & business development using a concept selling approach.
The position is responsible for leading and managing a team of Category Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, Customer Service Manager, Demand & Pricing Manager and Marketing Development Manager to design and implement sales and marketing initiatives to achieve desired sales growth and business objectives for Vietnam. It will be important provide guidance, direction and governance to the sales team and develop the team’s capability through on-going mentoring and coaching in being excellent in customer relationship management, product portfolio management as well as business development on designated market segments.
Being a critical influencer and as part of our leadership team in Vietnam, this role reports directly to the Country General Manager whilst has a very close working relationship with our regional Sales & Marketing Teams across Asia Pacific.
This position is based in Ho Chi Minh city office three to four days a week (one to two days in the plant).
We are looking for a charismatic leader with extensive sales & marketing experience from a hybrid B2B and B2C background, someone that has solid involvement in leading a successful team, naturally capable to be engaging and motivating, with a win-win mindset and passion of sharing the knowledge and supporting team mates so that they can continue to evolve and respond to customers and market changes timely; someone that enjoys working with people, able to influence and inspire people with great presentation, negotiation skills, and adaptable in communication styles facing different audience groups.
Ideally you will be degree qualified in Marketing or Commerce and have a proven track record in managing sales and marketing activities in Vietnam. You will be fluent in English and Vietnamese (written and oral) and quite comfortable in working in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
