* Job Purpose
1. Make sure safety, quality, productivity, delivery and optimize production cost (SQDC) as defined annual KPIs
2. Development Team leaders, Operators comply with all requirements of production.
3. Report/Escalate to higher level for all related issues in responsible areas to eliminate impacted and right support
4. Request to support functional Engineer for continuous improvement to improve SQDC in higher standard.
* Major Accountabilities
1. Daily to weekly MO plan
• Discuss with planners to define daily to weekly production rolling plan, optimization resource
• Prepare production capacity (machine, manpower, instruction…) to meet demand of customers
• Schedule and monitor pilot run/ evaluation in production floor.
2. Realize daily production
• Organize resources (workforce, material, equipment) to meet daily production plan.
• Monitor product quality during production process and material status in the line.
• Plan and ensure training flexibility skill of operators to fulfilled fluctuation demand.
• Audit machine and equipment status (usage status, calibration expired date)
3. Manage employees
• Plan manpower, follow up training progress of operators.
• Make sure subordinates follow work rule/regulations/code conducts, instruction and other requirements.
• Ensure safety and hygiene in the production line.
• Solve daily conflict base on company work rules
• Motivate subordinate to make sure good working morale.
• Manage and improve PA/operator’s performance; Conduct periodically performance appraisal
4. Cooperation other department
• Follow escalation path (report on time to relevant get quick support).
• Feedback to support department or TPU leader to improve service
• Delegate & follow up with other departments to eliminate task overlap/conflict.
• Build team work.
5. Continuous improvement
• Coordinate to others for improving products and processes.
• Proposal improvement activities for cost saving
• Empower and courage others for continuous improvement
• Maintain and continuous improve 5S in response area
6. Report and problem solving
• Lead daily Shop-Floor Management meeting (supervisor board)
• Follow all escalation rule in daily work on time
• Fulfill all report as requests of TPU leader and production managers
• Support PA/Operators to solve problem
* Key Performance Indicators
• Stop working hours impacted from accident (hours)
• Scrap rate (%); Productivity (%)
• Number of customer complaint related to Manufacturing (case per 1000 products)
• Number of Non-conformity found by external and internal Audit (case per hour audit)
• MO reliability and thought put time (% MO close on time)
• Other KPIs assigned by TPU leaders
*Education : Bachelor or Engineering degree or similar level educated outside of VN
• Fluent of Vietnamese
• English, good in communication for the task requirement
• More than 2 years’ experience in supervisor position of manufacturing environment, electronic industry is referable)
• Experience in production planning (capacity management)
• Used to apply Kanban, Just In Time to control material
• Experience in control Production order through ERP system (SAP, Dynamic, Axapta….)
• Well understand Vietnamese labor regulation
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access and word)
• Good in communication with team leaders, operators and other support Engineers
• Good in reporting skill and escalation process
• Experience in continuous improvement (Kaizen, improvement project)
• Understand basic requirement of ISO9001 system, ISO1400 and OSHA8000 are referable
