Financial returns:
- Be responsible for saving hotel asset/ energy/ water/ chemical and propose the saving ideas to management
- Understanding department’s and hotel’s product, and upsel to the guest, or recommend hotel products to the guest.

- Monitoring well maintenance plan for all AC system not only increase operation efficiency but reduce costs for repairs and unexpected downtime as well.

- Supervise AC Staff on repair and maintenance program for the Resort Buildings
- Supervise technicians and ensure all repairs & maintenance work is carried out correctly.
- Assist the Repair & Maintenance Duty Engineer to set up the Preventive Maintenance System and run same.
- Follow up all work orders in the ESCAP Engineering Software System and ensure that there is no backlog of work and to take any necessary follow up.
- Know and understand the operation and maintenance of all AC system and maintain when required.
- Know the operating parameters of the different types of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in the resort and ensures that same is adhered to.
- Contribute in solving the day to day operating problem of the Engineering/Pomec Department.
- Understand requirements of each job and ensure the completion targets are met.
- Notify managers or internal staff of any delays in performing works/task in accepted standard time frame.
- Prioritizes and takes appropriate remedial action in case of problems.
- Participate actively as a member of the resort ERT in the event of fire or other emergencies.
- Perform other tasks and duties as directed or assigned by your immediate supervisors.
- Notify your superior immediately when any equipment or lighting failure is noticed to expedite repairs/replacement.
- Supervise work to be undertaken by outside contractor/s.
- Ensure compliance with all IHG POMEC Systems and Programs.
- Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation immediately it occurs and notify staff of potential danger.
- Utilize computer applications to perform the tasks required.
- Participate in POMEC multiskilling and job rotation initiatives.
- Shift inspection and rectification.
- Follow the TQM principles to seek opportunity to continually improve POMEC processes.
- Complete work orders as requested by the Chief Engineer/Assistant Chief Engineer/Civil Duty Engineer to meet customer requirements.
- Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Required Skills:
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
- Able to speak, read and write English

Qualifications :
- Certificate from Technical school or similar capacity
- Some knowledge in English
Experience:
- At least 2 years experience preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity and including supervisory experience or training.
- Type and level of experience required may vary slightly based on size and complexity of operation
- Prefer experience in similar capacity
