WorldQuant develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a variety of asset classes and global markets. We seek to produce high-quality predictive signals (Alphas) through our proprietary research platform to employ financial strategies focused on exploiting market inefficiencies. Our teams work collaboratively to drive the production of Alphas and financial strategies – the foundation of a sustainable, global investment platform.

The Role: Candidate will be responsible for providing support to WebSim users including debugging users’ alpha models, querying databases to get user information, troubleshooting user issues, monitoring activity on the WebSim forum, testing new WebSim releases and reporting bugs, building automated reports about user activity using SQL queries. In addition, a successful candidate will also be able to contribute to the development of front-end dashboards for monitoring the process flows of the underlying Websim system.

Yêu cầu công việc

What You’ll Bring:
- BS degree or higher from a leading university in engineering, science, mathematics, finance or any other related field
- Able to program in Python, or any other modern programming languages
- Exposure to database technologies such as SQL.
- Knowledge in web-based frameworks such as MVC architecture, javascript, ajax, HTML are a plus
- Excellent problem solving abilities and judgment with strong attention to detail
- Mature, thoughtful, with the ability to operate in a collaborative, team-oriented culture
- Motivated by the transformational effects of technology-at-scale
- Good communications skills – both verbal and written (including fluency in English)
- Be a champion of our users and follow up with different teams to get user issues resolved
- Contribute to product evolution
